What We Collect
When you interact with Hiring Agents or submit the Sourcing Agent form, we collect the information needed to provide our services and respond appropriately. This typically includes:
- Identity and contact data: your name, work email address, job title, and company name.
- Recruitment data: whether you are hiring and, where relevant, the roles you are looking to fill.
- Technical data: your IP address, browser user agent, and the time you submitted your information or marketing consent.
How We Use Your Data
We strictly utilize your data to facilitate our services and improve your experience. Specifically, we use it to:
- Deliver the resources you requested directly to your email inbox.
- To contact you about MawHub and Hiring Agents services relevant to your business needs (you may opt out of these communications at any time).
- Look up public information about your company via third-party data providers (such as Apollo and CoreSignal) to personalize our response. Note: We only enrich company profiles, never your personal profile.
- To securely store submissions, maintain accurate records, and avoid duplicate outreach.
Data Sharing and Processors
We do not sell personal data. We work with trusted processors only where necessary to operate the service, which include:
- Supabase (EU-Central): secure database hosting and infrastructure.
- Google Workspace and Gmail: safe email delivery and correspondence routing.
- Slack: internal routing and notifications.
- Apollo and CoreSignal (US): public company data enrichment strictly for tailoring our B2B communication.
Browser Extension (Hiring Agents for LinkedIn)
Hiring Agents publishes a Chrome browser extension that lets authorised recruiters score the currently open LinkedIn profile against the roles they manage inside the Hiring Agents workspace at aimbot.mawhub.io. The extension only ever runs when the user clicks it — there is no background scraping, no automatic profile reading, and no behavioural tracking of the recruiter.
What the extension reads. When the recruiter clicks "Score" on a LinkedIn
profile page (a URL matching linkedin.com/in/*), the extension reads the public
profile content visible to that recruiter — name, headline, summary, experience, skills,
education, and profile photo. The extension does not read private messages, connection lists,
or any LinkedIn page outside profile URLs.
What is sent to our servers. The profile content is sent to the recruiter's own Hiring Agents workspace API together with the role context they pick. The server returns a score, a written rationale, and a strengths/gaps summary which is displayed in a side panel and stored against the recruiter's workspace for their team's later reference.
Cookies and storage used by the extension. The extension reads the
aimbot.mawhub.io session cookie so its API calls authenticate as the logged-in
recruiter, and uses the browser's chrome.storage API to remember the recruiter's
session between browser restarts. No advertising, analytics, or third-party tracking cookies
are created by the extension.
Candidate data & identified third parties. A candidate whose LinkedIn profile is scored is a data subject under PDPL, POPIA, and GDPR. We retain only the profile data the recruiter chose to score, masked or pseudonymised where reasonable in our logs. Candidates may exercise access, correction, or erasure rights by contacting privacy@mawhub.io with the LinkedIn URL in question; we will trace the data across our workspace, Supabase, and any cached evidence and confirm deletion in one pass.
What we do NOT do. We do not sell candidate data. We do not transfer candidate data to third parties outside the processors listed above. We do not use candidate data for advertising or for any purpose unrelated to the recruiter's scoring task. We do not read LinkedIn profiles without an explicit recruiter click.
Retention and Your Rights
We retain data only as long as needed to support our services, business records, and lawful obligations. You may request deletion of your personal information at any time.
Depending on your jurisdiction, your rights may include access, correction, portability, objection, and erasure under laws such as GDPR, POPIA, and PDPL. Your rights include:
To exercise any of these rights, contact our team and we will respond within a reasonable timeframe.

Our team can help with access requests, corrections, deletion requests, and privacy-related questions.
